“ My friends and I dropped during Filipino Heritage Night at Dodgers Stadium. The Dodgers were featuring some Filipino-inspired dishes, but the lines were way too long and the prices too high. So, we eventually landed at The Park's Finest! And boy did we not regret going here! The coconut beef was so tender and savory! The Mac n' Cheese had a nice crisp and had the perfect blend of flavors. It wasn't too salty either! The meat on the bones was also very tender and perfectly cooked! Not game-y at all! I took home the bone to give the bits of meat on it for my dog haha. Our server James was also amazing! He was so attentive and quick to help us when needed. He didn't just forget about us even after getting our food. Shout out to you James! ”
“ Amazing filipino-american bbq fusion: We got the malidang bbq pork ribs which were so tender and had a beautifully cooked crust and the coconut beef adobo, super creamy with tender beef. We got the Ligaya veggies which were seasoned well and were a nice lighter side dish Casual vibe with wooden bench seating and and the prices were super reasonable: 2 dishes, rice, a veggie dish and an ube flan for approximately $70 ($35 per person). The waiter was really kind too, kept coming over to check on us. Parking sucks, but Los Angeles.. Definitely coming back soon to try the bibingka and tri tip! ”
“ One of the best restaurants in LA and one of the best BBQ spots in the state. The staff is always so friendly, they are thoughtful with their suggestions and make sure that everything is up to par. Truly one of lesser known go-to spots in the city. ”
“ Street parking only Dine in or out Reasonable price Quality food Authentic flavors Great service Got a bit of everything, which are family size portions!! Everything was so delicious and would prefer this over American style bbq! ”
“ According to my previous review, it has been over 10 years and so we make a return visit because we were invited to join our niece for her birthday. The food is still the same as I remember it. This time we tried the Mama Leah's Coconut Beef, San Pablo Pulled Pork, Mount Mayon Hot Link Medley, Ann's Cornbread Bibingkavand the Esquite. For dessert we tried the UBE (purple yam) flan and the Buko Pandan Flan. It was a perfect order of food as we got full from all that. The service was excellent and no wait to be seated because of our reservations. The only downside to coming here is fortunately not the responsibility of The Park's Finest, is the parking. We literally had to park on the other side of the freeway and I was a little nervous only because we were in DTLA. I'm happy for The Park's Finest that they are keeping up with their traditional cuisine and keeping prices reasonable. ”
“ Bibinka cornbread. Ube beer. Highlights of my trip here. Service was pretty standard and it surprisingly wasn't super busy for a Saturday night. Apparently the wait times on Yelp said it was very busy earlier in the day. Ordered a little bit of everything: tri tip, coconut beef, riblets, sausage, mac and cheese, and corn. Didn't have the last two things but the rest were pretty good. The riblets not so much, wasn't too impressed. They had two sauces on the table which complimented the meats pretty well. Would definitely come back! ”
“ I had heard great things about the Park's Finest from friends and I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to stop by for dinner. They are doing some amazing bbq here with the addition of Filipino flavors and I am all for it. The service here was friendly and the staff were welcoming and were helpful with any questions I had. They were enthusiastic about the food they were making and were making sure everyone was having a great meal. The atmosphere was lively with plenty of people dining and enjoying their food and the sports on the TVs at the bar area. I ordered the ube lager to try since it sounded intriguing and I'm a huge ube fan. It was refreshing and tasty and I could actually taste the ube flavor which shocked me a little and I had to restrain myself from ordering another glass since it was that good. I ordered the tri-tip with a side of the cornbread and both were absolutely delicious. The tri-tip was tender, cut easily, and had a good amount of seasoning. The horse radish crema on the side was great to dip it in and offered a nice little kick of spice and creaminess and the bbq sauce they have pairs well with the tri-tip too! The cornbread was incredible and surprised me after the first bite. It was rich and moist but had a nice extra bit of sweetness thanks to the coconut milk and rice flour. Cooking it in the banana leaf also probably helped elevate the flavor as well. Overall, this is a great spot for BBQ and if you are looking to try something unique and new, The Park's Finest is a great spot to dine at and hang with friends while enjoying some food and beer! Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area! ”
“ Since 2011, I have ALWAYS wanted to stop by The Park's Finest. And I am grateful my Filipino friend mentioned this restaurant because it has been on my lis. Everything is definitely shareable and family style meal. Ordered the coconut beef and the side of white rice has 3 serving size so ample food for days. The coconut beef is in a thick cream sauce but the sweetness was so good. It is a good meal. We also shared the corn bread which is IMMACULATE. I also suggested maybe having some ice cream on the side would take this dessert to the next level. I also had the ube flan and like I believe the owner noted, it is the consistency of a melted ice cream. Niko was my server and he was SO kind. he spoke with me and my friend. he made the experience even better. Great time. great location. I found parking BUT I can understand if parking is a challenge as it is mainly street parking. ”
